Consulting Engineer – Afelio (via Nalys)

After completing my training program at Nalys, I joined Afelio as a consulting engineer, working on projects for FN Herstal, the Belgian defense company.

My role focused on developing and maintaining several Python packages to support FN Herstal’s internal projects. The work was carried out in an Agile environment, which meant frequent iterations, close collaboration with the client, and continuous delivery of improvements.

• Designed, developed, and maintained Python packages for FN Herstal.
• Worked within an Agile framework (sprints, standups, regular feedback).
• Applied Git-based workflows to ensure code quality.
• Collaborated with client teams to adapt software solutions to evolving needs.
